Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Facade Estimator specializing in Aluminum Systems to handle estimating tasks related to facades, windows, doors, curtain walls, pergolas, and related cladding systems. Only candidates with solid aluminum industry experience will be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine architectural drawings and technical specifications focusing on aluminum systems.
- Develop precise cost estimates for various structures including windows, doors, curtain walls, facades, pergolas, louvers, and cladding systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers and fabricators to obtain up-to-date and accurate pricing information.
- Prepare comprehensive quotations to support project bids and proposals.
- Stay informed on current competitive market trends and advantages to strengthen bidding strategies.
- Investigate and reconcile any cost discrepancies by thorough data collection and analysis.
- Secure detailed quotes for materials and system components to ensure reliable cost forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in projects related to aluminum and façades.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical plans.
- Extensive knowledge of aluminum profiles, glass variants, accessories, and installation procedures.
