Fabrication Project / Site Coordinator

Overview

Makarand Enterprises seeks a seasoned Site Supervisor specializing in fabrication and structural steel work for projects based in Pune and nearby regions. The role demands hands-on experience in managing site activities across fabrication, erection, and installation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities including fabrication, erection, and installation at the project site
• Lead and coordinate teams consisting of welders, fitters, helpers, and other site personnel
• Interpret and work accurately from structural and fabrication drawings
• Perform site measurements and verify work against drawings and specifications
• Engage and collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors present at the site
• Plan the day-to-day work schedule to ensure project milestones are met timely
• Monitor inventory requirements and liaise with office staff for material procurement
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and progress targets
• Provide daily updates on work progress complemented by site photographs
• Address and resolve on-site challenges with practical solutions

Candidate Requirements

• Experience ranging from 3 to 8 years in fabrication, structural steel erection, or industrial project execution
• Educational qualifications such as ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields are preferred
• Proficient practical skills in welding, fabrication, and erection activities
• Capability to manage site operations and manpower autonomously
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Willingness and ability to travel to project locations including Pune, PCMC, Chakan, and adjacent areas
• Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is advantageous

Additional Information

The ideal applicant is expected to be hands-on and able to independently manage all aspects of site work without supervision.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration offered for this position ranges between INR 15,000 to 30,000.
