Role Summary
An opportunity is available for an Executive Assistant to support C-suite leaders within a private equity environment in New York City. The position sits in a fast-moving, high-accountability setting where the assistant acts not only as an administrator but also as a dependable partner who helps leaders stay focused on strategic priorities.
Compensation and Schedule
The base pay for this role is $100,000 to $140,000 per year, with an additional bonus potential of 15% to 30%. The position requires an on-site presence for 4 to 5 days each week.
What You Will Do
- Keep executive calendars organized, coordinate meetings, and balance priorities so leadership time is used effectively.
- Draft, assemble, and structure meeting packs such as agendas, presentations, and reports.
- Monitor incoming messages and communications, then route and follow up on them appropriately.
- Arrange detailed domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transport.
- Stay ahead of travel requirements and manage supporting documents along with expense records.
- Assist with special assignments and internal initiatives, helping ensure timelines and outcomes are met.
- Carry out research and prepare concise briefing materials to support executive decisions.
- Serve as a communication bridge between executives and internal or external stakeholders.
- Support smooth collaboration across teams and help day-to-day operations run efficiently.
- Handle confidential matters carefully and apply strong judgment when priorities change quickly.
What We Are Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage demanding calendars and complex travel arrangements.
- Strong planning, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
- Clear and effective written as well as verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; exposure to project management platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team collaborator.
- A polished professional approach, integrity, and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Work Environment
This role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area and is intended for someone comfortable working on site in a collaborative, high-performance setting.
