About Dyson Singapore
Dyson's Advanced Manufacturing facility in Pioneer, Singapore, is seeking an Equipment Technician to support its automated production lines.
Role Overview
- Reduce equipment downtime to maintain target production output and quality yield.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and offer ongoing production line support.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting to quickly resolve equipment-related production halts.
- Systematically record and report equipment or technical stoppages on production lines.
- Carry out process control inspections to sustain production efficiency.
- Support production teams by delivering technical assistance to achieve output and quality goals.
- Assist with line setup processes when required.
- Maintain excellent 5S housekeeping and workstation conditions.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff on continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years' experience working within an automated production line environment.
- Possess ITC or Diploma qualifications in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of servo motors and smart PC systems is advantageous.
- Ability to accurately identify colored wires, signals, or labels essential for safe job performance.
- Demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills and initiative without requiring supervision.
- Strong teamwork abilities with a commitment to sharing knowledge clearly and effectively.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime; passionate about resolving issues efficiently.
