Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

This position requires installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of electrical systems across various sites including exhibitions and client locations. Emphasis is placed on ensuring safety, proper documentation, material management, and adherence to company protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting fixtures, and equipment adhering to technical drawings and specifications.
• Carry out electrical activities for projects like exhibitions and maintenance sites, ensuring correct earthing, cable routing, and balanced load distribution.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to detect faults early and perform timely repairs to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues related to power supplies, distribution boards, panels, and connected equipment effectively.
• Execute testing procedures before commissioning electrical installations to verify operational integrity.
• Maintain high quality standards in line with organizational and client expectations.
• Keep detailed daily records of works completed, materials used, faults noticed, and site-related concerns, reporting these to supervisors.
• Manage electrical materials and tools carefully to avoid wastage and ensure proper storage.
• Notify supervisors promptly of any material shortages to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns, providing support often outside regular hours as needed.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, including attendance, reporting structures, and conduct requirements, maintaining professionalism especially at client and exhibition sites.
