E-commerce Business Operation Specialist

About the Role

This remote role is with Manning Global AG, a globally recognized staffing and managed services company focused on delivering workforce solutions in various advanced sectors. We are recruiting an E-commerce Business Operations Specialist for a fixed-term assignment supporting a client’s project based in Germany or the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and executing major business initiatives related to seller and creator programs such as Seller Mission, Seller Assignment, Seller Commitment, Creator Mission, and Creator Commission.
• Gather, consolidate, and verify business requirements and configuration data from relevant stakeholders.
• Create configuration templates ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of information.
• Collaborate with teams across Business, Product, Data, Finance, and Operations to facilitate project launches and troubleshoot configuration challenges.
• Monitor and document project status, risks, dependencies, and action items using clear tracking tools.
• Conduct checks before and after launch to confirm proper implementation of configurations and identify necessary adjustments.
• Support data analysis and reporting efforts to assess project success and highlight operational gaps or areas for improvement.
• Manage multiple operational projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Contribute to the standardization and improvement of configuration processes, templates, standard operating procedures, and quality control mechanisms.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in ecommerce, business operations, project management, data operations, or related discipline.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage substantial data volumes accurately.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management capabilities, adept at juggling numerous projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Data-driven mindset with skills in Excel or similar data processing and analytical tools.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude to detect and address operational challenges.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience

• Prior involvement with ecommerce platforms, tech firms, or digital marketplaces.
• Experience in system configuration, managing business operations, incentive schemes, or operations involving sellers and creators.

Additional Information

This position commences in August 2026 as a fixed-term full-time contract. Candidates can work remotely from Germany or the UK.

Salary

The remuneration range for this role varies by location: in Germany, the gross monthly salary ranges between €4,500 and €5,000; in the UK, it is between £3,150 and £3,500, with final offers dependent on experience and qualifications.
