Key Responsibilities

• Lead thorough due diligence evaluations throughout the program lifecycle, independently assessing regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks with accountability.
• Coordinate multiple due diligence projects and workstreams involving cross-functional teams and partners across North America and Europe.
• Collaborate with experts from Legal, Risk, Compliance, Info Security, Finance, Financial Crimes, Privacy, and related areas to streamline reviews and facilitate clear decision-making.
• Conduct walkthrough sessions, deliver presentations, and manage discussions to clarify due diligence requirements and results to stakeholders.
• Design and improve risk assessment frameworks, reporting dashboards, and tools that enhance visibility into program status and assist leadership decisions.
• Work alongside compliance and commercial teams to confirm that programs adhere to partner-specific standards while balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Identify and implement improvements in due diligence procedures including automation, tooling upgrades, risk mitigation strategies, and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• 3 to over 5 years of experience in due diligence, third-party risk management, compliance, project/program management or a related field, preferably within fintech, payments, or financial services sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to independently manage intricate multi-stakeholder projects from inception through closure amid ambiguous and competing demands.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to succinctly translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidence in engaging internal teams, banking partners, and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to payments, card issuing, financial services, or program management.
• Proficiency using collaboration, productivity, and risk management platforms such as Salesforce, reporting tools, dashboards, and office suites.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with an ability to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
• Excellent teamwork aptitude and dedication to producing superior results.
• Preferred experience in financial technology, payment processing, banking partnerships, audits, or compliance reviews.
• Certifications such as CAMS or equivalent AML/BSA credentials are advantageous.
