Role Overview

This Driver position at Choice Care Group offers an opportunity to support and enrich the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. The role involves providing transportation services that enable safe and enjoyable participation in daily activities and outings, contributing to the positive experiences and wellbeing of those we assist.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting staff to and from service locations at shift start and finish, covering various local pickup and drop-off points.
• Facilitating transportation for service users to and from community activities and supermarkets to support shopping needs.
• Performing regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational standards.
• Documenting vehicle usage accurately and maintaining cleanliness and fuel levels.
• Coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs by liaising with Service Manager.
• Participating actively in staff meetings to contribute to service improvement.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• A valid full UK driving license is mandatory.
• Important personal qualities include patience, reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• The position entails 40 working hours per week.
• The hourly wage is £12.90.
