About the Role

This opportunity is provided on behalf of a partner company seeking a Director of Project Management located in the United States. You will lead enterprise-wide project management initiatives within a mission-focused digital health environment, managing complex and cross-functional programs that drive strategic growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a centralized project intake process across various business domains, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Lead complex cross-functional projects from start to completion, focusing on timelines, quality, budgets, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Create and maintain executive reporting frameworks to enhance visibility into project portfolios, resource distribution, risks, and outcomes.
• Implement and refine project management methodologies, standards, documentation, and operational best practices enterprise-wide.
• Collaborate with business leaders and executives to prioritize initiatives, resolve dependencies, and support strategic choices.
• Coordinate teams across functions and manage inter-project and inter-business unit dependencies.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Monitor project performance, identify challenges early, and apply mitigation strategies to ensure delivery success.
• Track key performance indicators and project success metrics, providing continual updates and insights to leadership.
• Lead change management efforts to promote adoption and sustain project benefits.
• Capture lessons learned and foster continuous improvement for future project execution.
• Mentor project managers and reinforce strong project management disciplines organization-wide.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively to maximize business value and efficiency.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, IT, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of progressive experience in project management roles.
• Proven track record directing enterprise-level, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong grasp of project management methodologies, lifecycles, and processes.
• Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and accountability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience dealing confidently with executive stakeholders.
• Robust analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and cultivating relationships across various organizational levels.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalents.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and tools for executive reporting.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion handling confidential information.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Preferred qualifications include an MBA or master’s degree and certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Experience in healthcare, technology, or similar industries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies is a plus.
