The company empowers property owners to modernize their buildings for the future without requiring their own capital investment. Their pre-designed energy modules integrate photovoltaic systems, bivalent heat pumps, and intelligent energy management systems, all scalable and controlled through proprietary software. Financing comes via long-term electricity and heat supply contracts priced below the German average, improving valuation, refinancing potential, and market competitiveness of sizable property portfolios — measurable, scalable, and sustainable. Each building saves approximately 1,000 tons of CO₂ annually. Their guiding principle: economically viable, sustainable, and future-proof solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the growth and scaling efforts of a leading Greentech firm as the Director of Corporate Development.
• Collaborate closely with decision-makers in asset management, project development, and family offices to identify and structure partnerships and transactions that finance and implement the decarbonization of large real estate portfolios.
• Work alongside a growing corporate development team (currently 2, aiming to expand to 4) to establish and deepen strategic collaborations with portfolio holders and funds aiming to position re-green as the premier partner for transforming existing property portfolios.
• Drive customer acquisition by identifying, approaching, and qualifying prospective clients in asset management and portfolio ownership sectors.
• Develop and validate ESG concepts alongside engineers, including feasibility and economic assessments of decarbonization measures.
• Manage contract and proposal negotiations, including preparing, negotiating, and finalizing energy supply and implementation contracts with asset managers and institutional customers.
• Represent the brand at trade fairs, panels, and evening events, and cultivate a network within the ESG and real estate industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a top university such as WHU, EBS, IREBS, TUM, Frankfurt School of Finance, or St. Gallen, preferably in business-related or sustainability-focused disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience in a demanding role with strong finance and real estate relevance — e.g., private equity, investment banking, trading, or major real estate firms like Cushman, JLL, CBRE, Quantum.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach and strong analytical thinking skills.
• Fluent in German and business proficient in English.
