About the Role

Home Instead is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home care across Aiken, Martinez, Evans, and neighboring regions. This position focuses on delivering meaningful assistance to aging adults through afternoon and daytime shifts in clients' homes, offering flexible scheduling and a chance to make a tangible difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and personal care services.
• Carry out light housekeeping and prepare meals.
• Provide reminders for medication and appointments.
• Support clients with grooming, toileting, and bathing needs.
• Assist with physical transfers and mobility.
• Deliver care specifically tailored for Alzheimer's patients.
• Provide incidental transportation for clients.

Required Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping others and positively impacting their lives.
• Friendly disposition and ability to build relationships with clients and families.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Capability to clear a criminal background check, DVM check, and drug screening.
