About the Role
We are conducting a confidential recruitment for a Digital Marketing Data Analyst. This role involves transforming marketing data into strategic decisions. You will oversee client reporting, assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and identify trends that benefit our entire client portfolio. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with spreadsheets, APIs, and engaging directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for clients using the current reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Quarterly reports must be submitted within two weeks after the quarter ends.
- Enhance and simplify legacy reporting systems to make them quicker to run, easier to maintain, and more cost-effective, reducing manual processes and points of failure.
- Periodically analyze marketing tactics’ performance to provide objective evaluations of their impact on clients’ business goals. Collaborate with Customer Success to communicate findings clearly and make data-driven recommendations for tactic deployment.
- Monitor competitors proactively using tools like Local Falcon and pay-per-click (PPC) competitive analysis to help Customer Success keep clients ahead of market developments.
- Perform cross-client analysis to identify best practices and notable successes or failures, sharing insights across client accounts. Support portfolio-wide experiments to gather statistically valid results, such as testing new advertising messages or SEO strategies.
- Assist clients in building their internal reporting systems, including integrating data from APIs and implementing software like CallRail, Google Analytics, and Search Console. Troubleshoot data tracking issues as they arise.
- Work closely with advanced clients who have mature reporting infrastructures, maintaining data accuracy and alignment with their critical performance metrics.
- Lead data-driven AI initiatives internally and externally, beginning with specific reporting projects and progressing toward AI-based marketing performance dashboards.
Success Criteria
- Deliver every quarterly report within two weeks of the quarter’s end without errors.
- Achieve measurable improvements in simplifying and reducing the cost of legacy reporting.
- Provide Customer Success with a continual stream of competitive and performance insights.
