Deli Assistant

Overview

This position is for a Deli Assistant based at Monread Rd, Naas, responsible for preparing quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing excellent customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Desirable to have HACCP training, though not mandatory
• Strong communication abilities
• Experience in customer service considered beneficial
• Capability to perform well in a team within a dynamic, fast-paced setting, managing multiple tasks effectively under pressure
• Genuine enthusiasm for food and ability to engage and inspire customers

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for various fresh food sectors, including assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot foods, and slicing meats using standardized portion control
• Cook, prepare, and present food items sold throughout the day
• Maintain impeccably arranged and appealing counter displays across all fresh food departments consistently
• Express passion for food by sharing recipes, tips, and recommendations with shoppers
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally in line with company policies
