Role Responsibilities
- Conceive, develop, and continuously enhance data- and AI-driven applications.
- Train machine learning models to address complex business challenges and deploy them into production environments.
- Create AI solutions incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for agent-based systems.
- Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) within the Databricks platform.
- Oversee operational management, scalability, and quality assurance of existing solutions through MLOps and DataOps approaches.
- Collaborate closely with departments to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Completed IT-focused degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent professional experience.
- Platform Expertise: Practical experience working with the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and proficient SQL knowledge.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to structure and analyze data to extract actionable insights.
- Additional Qualifications (ideal): Experience with Apache Spark (PySpark); familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform; proficiency with GitHub; expertise in model deployment using MLflow; working knowledge of NoSQL databases; visualization skills using Power BI.
- Languages: Excellent proficiency in German (C1 or above) and good command of English (B2 or above).
