Role Summary

The People Analytics division's goal is to enable data-driven decision-making throughout HR by advancing technological tools and enhancing employee experiences. The Data Analyst I will be integral to delivering strategic analyses for the HR team, collaborating across departments to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and visual narratives that influence leadership decisions on workforce engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with People functions on ongoing operational analytics initiatives.
• Define success metrics for HR operations, programs, and projects.
• Understand and fulfill HR leaders' needs for data-informed decision-making.
• Utilize SQL, Python, and Tableau to create automated dashboards and analytical tools that monitor workforce health.
• Develop data quality solutions and analyze workforce trends.
• Advise HR stakeholders to develop impactful analytical strategies.
• Conduct innovative analyses to guide business decisions.
• Create descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics to identify trends and forecast workforce changes.
• Apply AI-powered automation to enhance data cleaning and manipulation efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degrees in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or HR preferred.
• Minimum of one year of analytical work experience.
• HR or Data Science certifications and consulting experience in high-growth technology firms are advantageous.
• Strong expertise in SQL; eagerness to learn Tableau and/or Alteryx is essential; familiarity with SAS, R, Python is a plus.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professionalism, teamwork, and integrity in all activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from $58,656 to $78,100. EchoStar provides comprehensive benefits including flexible health options, HSA accounts, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, employee stock purchase plans, career development opportunities, and flexible leave policies.
