Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Data Analyst to join our growing Data team. Reporting directly to the Head of Data, the individual will act as a strategic leader, guiding how success is measured, communicated through data, and used to inform high-level decisions. The role surpasses traditional reporting by owning the analytical vision for key operational areas, designing scalable data models, and leading initiatives spanning clinical, operational, and financial domains. The Data Analyst will transform vague business challenges into clear analytical frameworks that deliver tangible benefits to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. This role requires a mix of deep technical skills, business acumen, and a passion for healthcare data-driven improvements. Responsibilities include mentoring analysts, setting data quality standards, and aligning data infrastructure with the company’s mission.

Qualifications

Over 8 years in advanced data roles such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or BI Architect
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare data ecosystems, including CMS datasets, clinical processes, value-based care, and compliance regulations
Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with data transformation using dbt or comparable modern data stack tools
Practical experience designing and maintaining production-ready data models within Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift environments
Strong background with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Knowi, focusing on building scalable analytics platforms
Ability to deconstruct complex and ambiguous business questions into structured analytical solutions
Excellent communication and presentation abilities to influence executives and cross-functional teams
Experienced mentor of data professionals and advocate of best practices in analytical rigor and reproducibility
Proven history of delivering measurable business and clinical value based on data-driven decisions

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the analytical strategy for critical business functions by translating goals into actionable data projects
Design and maintain scalable, high-performance data models and semantic layers ensuring consistent data quality enterprise-wide
Lead impactful cross-functional analytics efforts involving diverse datasets and stakeholders
Collaborate with senior leaders to frame essential questions, guide analytical methods, and communicate insights affecting company strategy
Mentor analytics staff, fostering high standards and best practices
Develop consistent enterprise-wide KPI definitions to maintain alignment and accuracy
Present analytical findings through compelling storytelling linking technical results to clinical and business outcomes
Champion data governance, quality, and comprehensive documentation to uphold data integrity and reproducibility
