Position Summary
The Data Administrator Analyst is responsible for creating, publishing, and managing Engineering reports through Power BI. This position requires building reports structured on a unified data model that fulfills functional needs and aligns with overall business goals. Additionally, the role supports continuous improvement efforts aimed at optimizing internal Engineering business systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and distribute Engineering business reports using Power BI.
- Design, manage, and enhance Engineering SharePoint sites, Power Apps, and Visual Studio applications.
- Participate in Engineering process improvement initiatives and system upgrades to ensure data integrity and maximize system functionality.
- Analyze business system processes within the department to identify opportunities for automation and improved reporting.
- Integrate automation into data collection workflows related to Engineering business systems.
- Document procedures associated with creating and maintaining Power BI reports, SharePoint sites, and Visual Studio programs.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or diploma in a related business systems field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis and development.
- Proficient in designing and developing SharePoint sites, Power BI reports, Visual Studio applications, Visual Basic, .NET, Power Query, and Python.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Power Automate (formerly MS Flow).
- Willingness to travel to the United States as required.
