Creative & Content Manager

About the Role

Arc'teryx is dedicated to inspiring outdoor living by crafting performance-driven products and experiences that foster connections to nature and community. We are seeking a Creative & Content Manager to spearhead the creation and execution of creative assets and content for Arc'teryx across Australia and New Zealand. This role focuses on producing distinctive and culturally attuned work that advances brand identity while meeting product and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee creative and content initiatives spanning brand, product, retail, digital, social media, and wider marketing channels.
• Develop unique creative concepts and content that enhance cultural relevance and propel the Arc'teryx brand ahead.
• Convert marketing strategies, go-to-market plans, and commercial objectives into compelling creative ideas and integrated content schedules.
• Manage the creative process from idea generation and art direction through to production and final rollout.
• Lead creative projects for significant brand events, product launches, and core collections.
• Create content that deepens understanding of products, encourages consideration, and drives demand.
• Craft creative solutions that balance commercial objectives with preserving premium brand stature.
• Establish and maintain a forward-thinking, continuous content creation stream that delivers consistent, quality output.
• Generate culturally relevant and platform-native content to enhance social media reach and interaction.
• Direct art and design efforts for all creative needs in Australia and New Zealand.
• Provide strong creative leadership through clear direction and constructive feedback.
• Manage all local creative production phases including briefing, concept development, photoshoot execution, post-production, and final delivery.
• Identify and collaborate with photographers, directors, designers, content creators, production teams, and specialized agencies.
• Oversee Arc'teryx’s network of creative, content, and production agency partners.
• Evaluate and integrate top-tier agencies or specialists tailored to creative and business requirements.
• Set explicit creative guidelines, briefs, quality standards, and performance expectations.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive background in premium apparel, sportswear, outdoor gear, lifestyle, or culturally connected brand sectors.
• Proven leadership experience steering creative and content efforts within premium, cultural, fashion, or leading consumer brands.
• Exceptional creative thinker with history of pioneering culturally meaningful and distinctive creative work.
• Experience building continuous content generation systems and producing high-volume, quality content.
• Demonstrated success in expanding social media presence and engagement via strategic creative content.
• Strong competence in art direction and design leadership.
• Comprehensive expertise managing creative and content production end-to-end.
• Established professional connections among creative specialists, creators, production partners, and agencies.
• Authentic enthusiasm for the outdoors and embodying brand values genuinely.
