Role Overview
The Continuous Improvement Specialist within Lennar Technology Group (LTG) plays an essential role in advancing technology and operational excellence across the organization. This position partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, transparency, and delivery effectiveness. The specialist will support modernization projects, process standardization, governance improvements, and workflow optimizations, working in a collaborative environment to drive significant enterprise transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with LTG leaders and various teams to pinpoint inefficiencies and process gaps.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and facilitated sessions under CI leadership guidance.
- Contribute to defining and enhancing CI governance standards and delivery frameworks with CI and PMO leadership.
- Assist in modernizing project delivery processes, including GitHub governance and intake procedures, and help pilot no-code project management models.
- Engage with business, technology, architecture, PMO, testing, and vendor teams to streamline cross-functional workflows and enhance delivery outcomes.
- Document current and future workflows, process maps, operating procedures, and governance documents.
- Evaluate operational metrics and trends to recommend improvements for organizational efficiency.
- Support change management and adoption for new tools, processes, and standards across LTG.
- Define metrics, measurement approaches, and dashboard requirements; partner with BI to deliver executive portfolio insights.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies affecting strategic initiatives.
- Maintain the CI team knowledge repository including templates and engagement materials to support scalability.
- Assist in developing CI team visibility strategies including communication of successes, stakeholder involvement, and intake pipeline management.
- Progress towards independently managing stakeholder relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to process owners and leadership.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline preferred.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, business analysis, or operational excellence roles.
- Background in supporting enterprise technology organizations and managing cross-departmental initiatives.
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Proven capability to manage projects, workstreams, and deliver results on time.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving expertise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational documentation.
- Familiarity with tools like Lucid, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Power BI preferred.
- Certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or Continuous Improvement are beneficial.
