Role Overview
The Content and Copywriting Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Digital Content Marketing Manager by crafting, editing, and enhancing impactful digital content and copy. This position is instrumental in advancing the digital strategy by elevating content quality, boosting organic search visibility, and increasing lead generation, with particular emphasis on the North American market through advanced content optimization.
Team & Reporting
This role is part of the Digital Content & Communications Team, working in close collaboration with Search Performance colleagues, Digital Product teams, Digital Account Management, and important partner markets. The position reports directly to the Digital Content Marketing Manager.
Main Duties
- Develop, revise, and optimize digital copy aimed at high conversion rates, targeting both B2B and B2C web content including landing pages, product/service pages, local market pages, and website migrations.
- Apply SEO, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and User Experience (UX) insights to craft persuasive, user-focused copy that enhances search visibility and drives conversions.
- Maintain editorial excellence by adhering to brand voice and editorial standards ensuring all content is professional, accurate, compliant, and aligned with company guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive content audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to uplift content quality and effectiveness.
- Collaborate across departments such as Search Performance, Digital Product, UX, and CRO to integrate insights and improve content impact.
- Manage clear documentation, track progress, and effectively communicate status updates to internal teams and external partners.
- Engage with local markets to ensure content projects are scoped correctly and delivered thoughtfully.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience creating, editing, and publishing digital content that achieves key metrics such as reach, engagement, lead generation, and SEO performance.
- Prowess in copywriting and editing within marketing or commercial sectors, preferably in service-oriented industries.
- Strong expertise in SEO best practices, seamlessly integrating keyword strategies into compelling copy.
- Excellent editorial judgment combined with creative ability to produce engaging, accurate, and persuasive short and long-form content.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills capable of simplifying complex ideas for various audiences.
- Experience working in a global organizational context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in publishing or editorial work.
- Familiarity with web content management systems and the full content publication lifecycle.
- Experience with content promotion and inbound marketing tactics.
- Graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe.
- Competency in keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics for performance reporting.
- Additional fluency in other languages is advantageous.
