Role Summary
We are seeking a Construction Scheduler/Planner to join our team for a prominent client located in West Dublin. The successful candidate will report to the Construction Planning Manager and should have a strong background in client-side, construction, and industrial scheduling experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with clients, project teams, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Define project objectives aligned with client expectations and drive successful delivery meeting goals, milestones, and timelines.
- Manage projects adhering to Quality Management Systems and governance protocols.
- Create, maintain, and control integrated schedules and planning systems throughout project execution.
- Track and report on critical project milestones, ensuring timely dissemination of progress and potential risks.
- Lead Interactive Planning Workshops to enhance project alignment, stakeholder involvement, and schedule creation.
- Develop and analyze Critical Path Method schedules to identify risks, constraints, and scheduling improvements.
- Exhibit advanced expertise in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- Work closely with Project Management teams producing schedule performance reports, forecasts, and status updates.
- Participate in Constructability Reviews, providing planning insights to optimize project execution.
- Determine resource requirements and incorporate resource planning within project schedules.
- Design and deploy planning methodologies, tools, and reporting systems to meet project goals effectively.
- Generate performance and schedule reports that highlight variances, assess their impact, and propose corrective strategies to maintain delivery standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in planning and scheduling within engineering or construction sectors.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills allowing strong collaboration with project teams.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Self-motivated with keen decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
