Role Overview
Primer is expanding by launching new campuses nationwide, each representing a construction project needing onsite leadership. As the Construction Coordinator, you will be the primary on-the-ground contact managing communication and oversight for multiple active construction sites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and construction schedules across ongoing projects to maintain progress and keep headquarters updated promptly.
- Consistently document site conditions using Matterport scans, drone video, photos, and other media to provide clear visibility into site status.
- Handle warranty issues post-opening by logging, assigning, and ensuring timely resolution, acting as the link between construction, facilities, and compliance teams.
- Conduct site inspections through all project phases including pre-acquisition, pre-construction, active building, and compliance checks, then deliver actionable updates to the real estate team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with about 70% of time spent on the road managing multiple live sites.
- Strong communication skills to convert field observations into clear, concise reports for a remote headquarters team on a daily basis.
- Proficiency with standard construction processes and paperwork including submittals, RFIs, schedules, and project close-out documentation.
- Experience or quick adaptability to Matterport and jobsite photographic workflows.
- FAA Part 107 drone certification or commitment to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Team-oriented mindset with humility, able to build trust with various stakeholders from general contractors to handymen.
