Position Overview
The Concierge Agent role at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar, is responsible for addressing guest requests and providing exceptional service within the Rooms & Guest Services department. This position requires attending to guest needs such as arranging transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, and handling special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Duties
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests for special services by organizing arrangements or locating suitable providers.
- Follow up on unique guest needs and confirm satisfaction with the services rendered.
- Provide guests with comprehensive information about hotel amenities, surrounding area attractions, events, and activities.
- Handle all guest communications including calls, messages, and concerns, and coordinate with relevant hotel departments such as Bellperson and Housekeeping to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records by reviewing daily logs and documenting relevant information.
- Oversee club lounge activities ensuring seating availability, quality of service, guest safety, and overall well-being.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly to management and complete all necessary safety training.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, safeguard confidential information, and protect company assets.
- Welcome guests warmly, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to visitors.
- Communicate professionally with clear speech and proper telephone etiquette, and prepare accurate written documentation.
- Foster positive teamwork and maintain supportive relationships with coworkers, addressing concerns constructively.
- Meet quality assurance standards consistently throughout the work shift.
- Physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and able to lift or move items up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- No prior related work experience or supervisory background is necessary.
- No specific licenses or certifications are required for this role.
