Who this role suits
The company is seeking upbeat, committed, and enthusiastic people who work well with others. Previous experience is not required. This role may also suit someone wanting either a longer-term opportunity or a few additional shifts, provided they are dependable, approachable, and comfortable as part of a team.

The pubs open early and close late, so the role offers flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes. The advertised schedule is 8 hours per week, with shifts listed from 6:00 to 8:00 on Monday through Sunday.

Growth and development
Wetherspoon supports internal progression, with many team leaders and managers having started in the kitchen or behind the bar. Development options include structured on-the-job training, apprenticeships, management academies, cross-training into other areas such as bar, kitchen, or hotel, and opportunities to move into team-leader and shift-leader positions.
Other information
The company promotes an inclusive workplace where people from all backgrounds are welcome. This role may not be suitable for applicants under 18 due to shift patterns and lone working. If there are many applications, the vacancy may close earlier than planned. There may also be other openings in front-of-house or kitchen roles.
