About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to visit residential rental properties and perform various cleaning duties including move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparation cleaning to ensure listing readiness. Our client is a comprehensive leasing service powered by proprietary technology designed to help landlords reduce vacancies and lease properties more swiftly by managing every stage from listing to tenant move-in.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit residential rental units for scheduled cleaning appointments, including move-ins, move-outs, and general turnovers.
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks encompassing kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and other areas per company standards.
- Clean appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers thoroughly.
- Remove dirt, dust, debris, garbage, and any leftover items effectively.
- Wipe down surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and all high-touch points.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and otherwise clean floors in all designated areas.
- Document all cleaning tasks by taking clear before-and-after photographs and videos.
- Identify and report any issues like damage, maintenance needs, junk removal, pest problems, or access concerns requiring follow-up before listing or tenancy.
- Provide detailed updates, notes, and photographic evidence promptly after each visit.
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, tenants, applicants (where applicable), and internal team members.
- Adhere strictly to cleaning checklists, company instructions, appointment details, and access protocols.

Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, residential cleaning contractor, or in a similar capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of residential cleaning standards and best practices.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel between properties independently.
- Availability of all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each scheduled job.
- Possession of a smartphone (iPhone 13 or equivalent) equipped with a high-resolution camera for documenting work.
- Ability to capture clear, high-quality photos and videos of the properties and completed cleaning assignments.
- Skill in writing concise and clear notes, submitting updates after every cleaning visit without supervision.
- Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
- Capability to follow detailed checklists, instructions, and property access guidelines meticulously.
- Respectful and clear communicator with landlords, applicants, tenants when applicable, and team members.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Background in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning specifically for residential properties.
- Experience preparing homes for photos, showings, inspections, or tenant occupancy.
- Familiarity with identifying damage, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest concerns, and access problems or unsafe conditions.
- Track record of working independently in the field for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services companies.
