Job Overview

Primary Duties

• Warmly greet every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently process purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Support customers by assisting with bagging and loading purchased items.
• Uphold safe working conditions by practicing proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Maintain cash register security and integrity through careful cash handling, adherence to company policies, and vigilance of surroundings.
• Refer transactional or service-related matters to a Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.40 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
