About the Role

Start your day by joining our vibrant café team, where your role blends cooking, customer interaction, and delivering great service. As a Team Member, you contribute to the enjoyable experience for our customers by preparing and serving meals while ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are met. Additionally, you maintain cleanliness and order in both the kitchen and dining areas.

The job is dynamic, filled with everyday challenges, and offers flexibility in working hours, career growth prospects, and more. New team members are guaranteed at least 8 hours of work each week, with shift schedules provided three weeks in advance. We encourage applications from individuals who can mostly match our availability windows but are also open to some flexibility. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Serve customers promptly and attentively.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols, including daily record keeping.
• Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
• Receive deliveries and properly store food items safely.
• Comply with all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food items according to the café menu.
• Ensure availability and quality of all food products and maintain service standards.
• Thoroughly understand the café menu to serve food correctly.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating to the Café Manager when necessary.
• Stay informed about business communications and new initiatives.
• Keep tables clean and sanitized for a pleasant environment.
