Role Overview
The Business & Operations Senior Manager is key to executing Inverto’s regional expansion plan by overseeing essential commercial, personnel, financial, and operational activities throughout the Middle East. This role partners closely with Inverto leadership and EMESA teams, ensuring clear visibility of business development efforts, facilitating effective market engagement, and guiding high-quality decision-making through robust performance and financial oversight.
This position also champions talent development, fostering a cohesive and productive culture, optimizing staffing and resource use, and maintaining operational excellence by promoting collaboration between BCG Core and Inverto EMESA teams. Compliance with governance, legal, and internal policies is rigorously upheld. The Manager supervises local office functions and manages shared services and marketing projects to support seamless operations and reinforce Inverto’s regional brand presence. Additionally, the role ensures local activities align with BCG core and Inverto global standards and business models.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive lead management and support go-to-market initiatives by working with managing directors, principals, and EMESA teams to convert strategic priorities into actionable plans and execute them effectively.
- Collaborate with the Business Excellence team and local leadership to maintain transparency in the business development pipeline, managing tools, ensuring data accuracy, and aligning processes and governance.
- Enhance commercial outcomes by providing insights into local platforms, synthesizing data, and assisting senior leaders with actionable guidance.
- Manage personnel and talent by optimizing team deployment and resource distribution with EMESA partners to meet business goals.
- Help develop the Middle East hiring approach alongside EMESA and recruitment teams to attract and retain top consulting talent, improving selection effectiveness.
- Coordinate professional development efforts including career growth, training, retention, and team engagement in liaison with EMESA.
- Lead local initiatives to boost team unity and organizational culture, ensuring efficient HR operations and benefit delivery with local HR teams.
- Support the Teaming process collaboratively with the central Teaming Team to ensure effectiveness and ongoing enhancements.
- Partner with finance teams to guide strategic and financial planning, ensuring functional alignment and rigorous budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with insightful recommendations for leadership.
- Work closely with Inverto and BCG Finance to maintain accurate cost accounting and profit & loss management compared to plans.
- Assist Commercial Finance in transparently managing the project portfolio to support informed performance and risk decisions.
- Foster strong cooperation with BCG Core and Inverto EMESA across teams like BST, HR, and IT to streamline processes and operational integration.
- Ensure dependable information and data exchange between Inverto Middle East and EMESA, overseeing non-automated processes and compliance with data governance standards.
- Enhance governance, risk management, and compliance by aligning local actions with EMESA and BCG Core requirements while proactively pinpointing areas for improvement.
- Implement legal and internal policy compliance, establishing local controls and maintaining transparency on regulatory changes.
- Create systematic methods to collect and summarize current compliance regulations.
- Manage daily office operations, serving as a primary contact for stakeholders to maintain smooth and efficient business functions.
- Coordinate shared services such as HR, recruiting, and IT with BCG, optimizing processes to support local delivery requirements.
- Lead local marketing efforts to execute campaigns consistent with global marketing and employer branding teams, ensuring a strong unified brand presence.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree with above-average academic performance.
- Bring at least 8 years of relevant experience in business operations.
- Demonstrate confidence working in an international environment with business-level English proficiency.
Work Environment
The role reports directly to the Inverto Managing Director and requires collaboration with global, regional, and local teams characterized by highly motivated, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, and authentic colleagues who prioritize team success.
