Overview

Join the Kraft Heinz New Zealand Sales Team as a Business Development Manager based in Auckland, focusing on expanding your sales career with a globally recognized food and beverage leader. This role offers a flexible work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote, along with a competitive salary package, annual bonuses, and exceptional benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee alternative channel customers such as Costco, The Warehouse, Chemist Warehouse, and other distribution routes.
  • Manage the private label portfolio for Foodstuffs and Woolworths, including leading artwork update projects for private label lines.
  • Drive reduction of slow-moving inventory and clearance stock to optimize business results in New Zealand.
  • Collaborate with the Head of New Business Development to formulate tailored account-specific business plans and track their performance against goals.
  • Target and sell to new accounts focusing on particular channels and categories; identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate agreements and establish plans that comply with company policies and budgets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives and deliver outcomes.
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities for a portfolio of product categories.
  • Engage in daily operations relating to potential or existing contract manufacturing partnerships.
  • Coordinate the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for assigned portfolio.
  • Develop customized product solutions and joint business plans (JBPs) with accounts and internal teams.
  • Monitor business performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Communicate forecasting, pipeline opportunities, new product developments, and pricing information to relevant stakeholders.
