Business Analyst (Pre-Sales)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and client-oriented Business Analyst specializing in Pre-Sales with over one year of experience in the IT sector. This role requires acting as a liaison between clients and technical teams, accurately capturing business needs, creating detailed project documentation, and providing essential support to the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle. Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and presentation abilities are crucial for success.

Key Project Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development teams to comprehend client requirements thoroughly.
• Conduct detailed requirement elicitation sessions with both domestic and international clients.
• Analyze and translate business needs into comprehensive functional specifications.
• Create and manage documentation such as Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, wireframes, workflows, and use cases.
• Estimate project scope, timeframes, and resource effort in collaboration with technical teams.
• Develop proposals, project documentation, and presentation materials for client engagements.
• Participate actively in client meetings, product demos, and solution pitches.
• Coordinate effectively with UI/UX designers, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
• Perform market research and analyze competitors to recommend appropriate technology solutions.
• Assist in drafting project estimations, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Facilitate smooth transition from the pre-sales phase to project delivery teams.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry developments, emerging technologies, and trends in digital transformation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Business Analyst within IT services or software product development environments.
• Practical experience in Pre-Sales Business Analysis activities.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks, and Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in requirements gathering and preparing documentation such as BRD, FRD, SRS, and user stories.
• Familiarity with wireframing and visualization tools including Figma, Balsamiq, Draw.io, or Microsoft Visio.
• Sound knowledge of web, mobile applications, and software-based solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills, communication prowess, presentation capability, and experience in managing stakeholders effectively.
