We are seeking a skilled Bridal Lehenga Tailor specializing in creating exquisite bridal lehengas tailored to precise client measurements and designer specifications. This position demands expertise in garment construction, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in working with luxurious fabrics and elaborate embroidery.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft bridal lehengas from patterns, sketches, or direct designer instructions, managing every step including fabric cutting, stitching, lining, and final finishing.
• Take precise body measurements or interpret designer measurements, conduct fittings, and carry out alterations to ensure an impeccable fit while maintaining systematic records.
• Handle delicate and ornate fabrics such as silk, velvet, net, brocade, and organza with care, preserving embroidery and embellishments during the sewing process.
• Collaborate closely with designers, embroidery artisans, handwork staff, and fellow tailors to deliver cohesive and aesthetically accurate garments.
• Perform thorough quality assessments to detect any sewing flaws, ensure alignment quality, and verify that final finishes meet high bridal couture standards.
• Provide alteration and repair services post-delivery as requested by clients or required for damaged bridal attire.
• Effectively manage production schedules to satisfy deadlines, especially in peak wedding seasons, while prioritizing urgent tasks without sacrificing quality.
• Maintain sewing equipment and tools in excellent condition and keep the tailoring workspace organized and clean.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience tailoring bridal or ethnic wedding garments with a focus on lehengas.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian garment construction techniques related to bridal wear.
• Proficient in operating various industrial and hand sewing machines.
• Exceptional attention to detail, patience, and expert craftsmanship.
