BIM Modeller

Role Overview

This position involves independently managing BIM modeling assignments, providing technical support to less experienced modelers, and ensuring the accuracy and coordination of models.

Key Duties

• Create and oversee BIM models specific to engineering disciplines.
• Perform validation checks, verify quality, and maintain clash-free models.
• Generate drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and assist with project documentation.
• Guide and coach junior modelers while enforcing BIM standard compliance.
• Collaborate closely with BIM leads and engineering teams to deliver project outcomes.

Collaborations

Interactions are primarily internal, including:

• Senior modelers for assigning tasks and reviewing work.
• BIM coordinators for model updates and managing issues.

No external stakeholder engagement is required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, ITI, or graduate degree in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred proficiency in English and regional languages.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience in building or infrastructure projects.
• Freshers with internship or entry-level BIM exposure may also be considered.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

• Expertise in BIM applications such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of construction drawings and detailed specifications.
• Fundamental knowledge of architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Strong accuracy and meticulousness.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and be detail-oriented.
• Teamwork skills and reliable punctuality.
