Job Overview

We are seeking a professional Bellman to warmly welcome and escort guests at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, located in West Bay, Doha, Qatar. This full-time position involves assisting guests with luggage handling, providing information about property amenities and local attractions, and facilitating transportation arrangements to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and accompany guests to their rooms, opening doors and aiding arrivals and departures.
• Inform guests about hotel features such as room keys, mini-bars, vending areas, in-room safes, and valet laundry services.
• Manage guest luggage transport to and from rooms and designated bell areas, plus luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles, including help with loading and unloading luggage.
• Provide guests with directions and handle transportation arrangements like taxis, shuttle services, and limousines, documenting any pre-booked transport as necessary.
• Communicate parking guidelines to guests and monitor the premises for security concerns.
• Maintain professionalism with a clean appearance and proper uniform while protecting confidential information.
• Engage guests with courteous communication, anticipate their service needs, including assistance for guests with disabilities, and express gratitude upon departure.
• Use clear and professional language in all interactions, including telephone etiquette.
• Develop and nurture positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Adhere to all company policies and health & safety standards, reporting any accidents or hazards.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided or over 75 pounds with help; navigate various terrains and stairs safely.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Experience: No prior work or supervisory experience is required.
• License/Certification: Not necessary.
