Audit Assistant

Job Overview

The Audit Assistant is tasked with precisely counting inventory items by following the organization's prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This involves using barcode scanning devices or Android smartphones to ensure accurate stock audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to the company's Stock Audit SOP without any deviations.
• Conduct thorough inventory counts on a piece-by-piece basis to confirm complete accuracy.
• Utilize barcode scanners or Android mobile devices to scan item barcodes.
• Cross-check scanned data against the physical items to guarantee matching.
• Report any discrepancies such as damaged, missing, surplus, or unidentified stock immediately to the Team Leader.
• Input all counted quantities accurately into the audit software application.
• Uphold high standards of discipline, integrity, and confidentiality throughout the audit process.
• Complete all assigned audit tasks within the given timeframe.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of 10th or 12th pass; graduates are preferred.
• Basic proficiency in using Android smartphones.
• Ability to read barcode labels and correctly identify products.
• Willingness to travel and conduct audits at various client sites.
• Physically capable of standing and performing stock counts for extended durations.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high accuracy in counts.
• No previous auditing experience is necessary as adequate training will be provided.

Additional Details

• This is a field-based role requiring onsite presence at client locations.
• Payments are calculated daily but disbursed monthly.
• Travel is expected according to the audit schedule.
• Candidates are expected to demonstrate strict compliance with audit SOPs, professional conduct on site, accurate reporting with zero tolerance for manipulation, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
