Job description

Overview

The Funds Team within the Asset Management and Funds Division at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) aims to promote sustainable growth in Singapore's asset management sector and to enhance Singapore's appeal as a global hub for fund management and domiciliation. The team monitors global asset management industry trends and the wider funds ecosystem to identify growth opportunities. Key focus areas include improving fund structures such as trusts, limited partnerships, and the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC), leading industry development projects, and advancing digital transformation within the funds ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will administer MAS’ grants and tax incentives related to funds. You will also support the ongoing implementation and enhancement of a portal system currently being developed. Frequent engagement with industry stakeholders will be necessary to review tax incentive and grant applications, assess key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage exceptions.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, possess strong verbal and written communication abilities, and can collaborate effectively as team players. Attention to detail and a careful approach to work are important. Candidates should be independent and motivated to drive projects and tasks to completion successfully in a fast-paced environment. The role requires managing multiple priorities, responding agilely to changes, and handling diverse stakeholder requirements.

Additional Information
