Associate - Fleet Management (Logistics Experience Required)

About the Role

Shipa Delivery, a rapid-growing digital last-mile logistics company operating within UAE, KSA, and Kuwait under Agility Logistics, seeks an experienced Associate in Fleet Management. This pivotal position involves managing day-to-day operations of Delivery Assistants, analyzing workflows through performance data, coordinating with multiple teams, and delivering key reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Delivery Assistants daily, addressing any operational challenges promptly.
• Engage continuously with Delivery Assistants to adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for shipments.
• Ensure strict compliance of Delivery Assistants with client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent escalations.
• Work with Delivery Assistants to design optimized delivery routes, ensuring efficient, professional, and smooth delivery services.
• Supervise daily fleet functions and team performance, compiling and forwarding performance reports to the Operations Manager.
• Examine logistics data such as exception reports, delivery volume per hour, work hours, and accident reports to uncover cost-efficiencies and enhance performance.
• Participate in developing operational plans to attain performance targets and identify growth prospects within the eCommerce sector.
• Provide support for both field and in-house operations as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree, ideally in logistics and supply chain management.
• Hold at least 2 years of experience in fleet management or a supervisory capacity.
• Prior exposure to logistics and eCommerce preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities including coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
• Ability to influence teams across different functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Analytical mindset combined with technical competence.
• Availability to work flexible and extended hours when needed.
