Role Overview
We are expanding our Performance Improvement division and seek a seasoned Associate Director. This position suits a commercially savvy consultant eager to address multifaceted strategic, operational, and financial problems across diverse industries. The role offers substantial career advancement within a well-regarded and growing practice, working alongside expert partners and senior leaders. You will enhance your advisory capabilities, deepen commercial insights, and cultivate meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders by delivering complex, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and team members to execute impactful performance improvement initiatives spanning multiple sectors and challenging operating conditions.
- Interpret financial and operational data to highlight critical issues and formulate clear, commercially viable recommendations.
- Assist clients in understanding their business metrics, uncover enhancement opportunities, and confidently manage change processes.
- Design and oversee the roll-out of customized, sustainable solutions aligned with clients' unique needs and strategic goals.
- Establish strong trust with senior stakeholders and lead organizations through significant transformation phases.
- Partner with senior leadership to contribute to client engagements, advance business development, and support practice growth.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a cooperative and high-achieving workspace culture.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Possess tertiary qualifications with approximately 6 to 8 or more years’ experience in consulting, advisory, strategy, transformation, or related fields.
- Proven track record managing complex projects aiming at operational, commercial, financial, or strategic enhancement.
- Strong financial acumen, including skills in financial analysis, business case preparation, modeling, and performance analysis.
- Ability to build credibility, influence, and engage with senior executives and key stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to distill complex matters into actionable guidance.
- Experience leading teams and managing deliverables successfully in dynamic settings.
- Genuine interest in organizational operations and passion for delivering practical, measurable performance improvements.
- Experience in sectors like higher education, healthcare, government, infrastructure, professional services, or other environments with complex stakeholder landscapes is advantageous but not mandatory.
