Role Overview
Join Dr Martens at Brisbane DFO as an Assistant Store Manager, collaborating closely with the Store Manager to lead a group of dedicated casual staff. Your primary responsibilities will involve boosting sales and key performance indicators (KPIs), mentoring and coaching the team, and ensuring top-notch customer service. You'll be instrumental in fostering an enjoyable and dynamic store environment while enhancing your leadership capabilities in a fast-moving retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in driving store success by hitting sales goals, KPIs, and upholding visual merchandising quality.
- Inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellent sales results and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Regularly review store sales data on daily, weekly, and monthly intervals to recognize achievements and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to staff, promoting high morale, continuous learning, and planning for advancement.
- Manage inventory levels, maintain store organization, implement shrinkage controls, and uphold operational best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in senior casual roles, key holding, third-in-charge, or supervisory positions within busy retail outlets.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a record of meeting or surpassing sales and KPI targets.
- Energetic, solution-focused leadership style characterized by a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication aptitude coupled with a strong passion for coaching team members.
