Overview

An award-winning mining services company based in Osborne Park, Western Australia, is seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant for a temporary role with potential to become permanent. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside the Finance Manager and gain valuable exposure within a leading Western Australian company.

Key Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliations accurately and timely
Process supplier invoices and carry out supplier reconciliations
Manage intercompany payments and associated reconciliations
Handle daily accounts receivable remittances and prepare monthly customer statements
Oversee and respond to queries in the accounts inbox
Complete various ad-hoc administrative finance duties as needed

Required Skills and Experience

Prior experience in a similar assistant accountant role
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and reconciliations
Proficiency with Pronto accounting software
Excellent communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
