AI Researcher (Only IIT & CSE Graduates)

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Researcher with a robust foundational knowledge in machine learning and deep learning, including mastery of architectures like encoder–decoder systems, transformers, convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and generative adversarial networks (GANs). The candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in core algorithms such as classification (both generative and discriminative), regression, clustering, and dimensionality reduction. A solid grasp of mathematical principles including probability, statistics, linear algebra, and optimization methods is crucial, alongside proficiency in data structures and algorithms.

Proficiency in Python programming is essential, with practical experience using libraries like Scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and TensorFlow. Familiarity with C/C++ or Java is advantageous. A deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP) is mandatory, and experience with large language models (LLMs) is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to facilitate effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Address e-commerce search challenges involving processing vast amounts of heterogeneous data, including structured and unstructured text, image data, ontologies, and databases.
• Perform detailed data analysis, error diagnosis, debugging, and refine research code to enhance model performance.
• Engage in deep problem-solving by asking insightful questions and employing innovative approaches to devise effective solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable hands-on experience in training, tuning, and deploying deep learning models is mandatory.
• Experience in adapting and modifying deep learning research code is preferred.
• Practical exposure to machine learning or deep learning projects, whether through academic coursework or industry experience, is advantageous.
• Educational qualifications should include a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science disciplines.
