About goML and Role Overview
goML is pioneering advanced Machine Learning platforms and Generative AI solutions aimed at resolving tangible challenges faced by enterprises. Operating at the confluence of innovative research and robust engineering, the company transforms creative AI concepts into scalable production-ready applications. We're inviting a skilled Generative AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic core team, taking charge of designing, developing, and deploying GenAI systems encompassing all stages from model training and fine-tuning through to live deployment and ongoing monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of goML's ML and Generative AI platforms, use cases, and system architecture within the first month
- Familiarize with existing training, inference, and deployment workflows for AI models
- Investigate current strategies for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), large language model fine-tuning, and performance evaluation
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and product teams to grasp business challenges
- Design and implement Generative AI solutions leveraging methods like RAG, transformer models, and LLM architectures during initial months
- Fine-tune pre-trained large language models to meet domain-specific and task-related needs
- Construct and manage data pipelines supporting training and inference procedures
- Apply best software engineering practices in developing machine learning and GenAI pipelines
- Assess, analyze, and benchmark model quality and efficacy
- Develop and deploy prototype Generative AI systems for experimentation
- Take end-to-end ownership of ML/GenAI pipelines, including production deployment and monitoring over time
- Implement model optimization and compression techniques when applicable
- Continuously enhance deployed models for improved performance and dependability
- Stay informed on the latest Generative AI advancements and thoughtfully integrate them into solutions
- Work collaboratively across teams to address complex enterprise-level problems at scale
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline
- Between three and five years of practical experience working in Generative AI, Machine Learning, or allied domains
- Proficient in Python programming language with practical coding skills
- Hands-on experience dealing with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and large language model-based architectures
- Experience designing data pipelines and deploying ML/GenAI models in production environments
- Deep understanding of evaluation methodologies for ML and Generative AI models
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Linux operating systems
- Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure services, particularly AWS ML/GenAI offerings
- Preferred but not mandatory: knowledge of model compression and optimization methods
- Experience with popular ML and Generative AI frameworks and tooling
- Understanding of MLOps and model monitoring best practices
- Adaptability to fast-paced startup settings is beneficial
