Overview
This role is offered on behalf of a partner company, which oversees all applications and subsequent steps. The AI Change Lead position is based in Kenya and provides a remote working opportunity. This role is pivotal in driving a significant global AI transformation and adoption initiative. The incumbent will develop and execute a change strategy aimed at enabling both employees and leaders to effectively embrace AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and sustain the AI Change Strategy, the transformation narrative, and a comprehensive employee adoption plan.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, forging strong connections with senior leaders and key business units.
- Develop and manage communication strategies, including creating messaging, FAQs, engagement materials, and adoption content.
- Organize and oversee AI governance forums such as leadership meetings, maintaining decision logs, tracking actions, and ensuring follow-ups.
- Support implementation of AI learning pathways and initiatives to boost employee confidence and capability in AI adoption.
- Lead the organization and delivery of a major AI-centric corporate event to maximize engagement and align with program goals.
- Establish and manage an AI Champions Community to enhance advocacy, engagement, and adoption throughout the organization.
- Monitor program risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions; escalate concerns as necessary.
- Provide frequent reports on program progress, adoption rates, stakeholder engagement, and outcomes.
- Collaborate extensively with Learning, Communications, Technology, and business teams to ensure a cohesive approach to AI transformation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Substantial experience as a Change Lead, Change Manager, Transformation Lead, or similar organizational change role.
- Expertise in organizational change, digital transformation, technology adoption, or AI adoption projects.
- Proven capability to develop change strategies, adoption plans, and communication campaigns.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership effectively.
- Strong governance skills including management of risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions within programs.
- Experience designing or supporting employee learning and training initiatives for adoption.
- Experience managing communities, champion networks, or broad employee engagement programs.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-functional, global settings.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Prior exposure to AI or digital transformation efforts or experience working in regulated sectors like pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
- A collaborative, proactive, and flexible mindset capable of transforming complex transformation objectives into clear, engaging employee experiences.
