About the Role
Join PwC Canada’s Internal Firm Services as an Administrative Assistant based in Toronto, Ontario. Reporting to the Admin Services Manager, this role involves supporting daily business activities of stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dealing with confidential and sensitive information. You will actively participate as part of a problem-solving team to address complex business challenges, ensuring high standards of professionalism and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage emails, calendar appointments, and coordinate events proactively.
- Arrange travel plans and bookings for team members.
- Process expense reports and vendor invoice coding with accuracy.
- Execute Salesforce-related tasks and support data management.
- Carry out general research and manage relevant documents.
- Serve as a backup resource to team members and actively engage in collaborative teamwork.
- Assist with adoption and implementation of new firm technologies, policies, and procedures.
- Continuously develop professional, digital, and technical skills.
- Participate in other business initiatives, projects, and general administrative duties as needed.
- Provide support primarily during core business hours aligned with regional time zones, with flexibility required.
Candidate Profile
- Strong dedication to client service, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, integrity, and tact at all times.
- Ability to operate effectively both independently and collaboratively, fostering a positive team environment that leverages individual strengths.
- High-level judgment and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and flexible approach to working with various staff levels.
- Exceptional organizational aptitude with the skill to prioritize multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Excellent listening, oral, and written communication abilities, including strong spelling, editing, proofreading, punctuation, and grammar.
- Proficiency in using AI-enhanced tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatPwC to boost productivity; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite essential.
- Comfortable working within a technologically evolving setting, promoting digital tool adoption and strategies.
- Experience in customer service, administration, or a similar function, preferably within a partnership or professional services environment.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Ability to work from the office as hybrid work expectations will be discussed during the hiring process.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $45,800 to $76,300 annually, varying by location and candidate qualifications. Eligible employees might also participate in variable incentive programs rewarding individual and firm-wide achievements.
