Position Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Workers Compensation Accounts Payable Officer is to oversee and manage the accounts payable functions related specifically to workers' compensation claim payments. This includes ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time, maintaining comprehensive records, and coordinating with internal teams to support overall financial operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum educational attainment is a high school certificate or equivalent.
- Prior experience in accounts payable within a workers' compensation or insurance setting is beneficial but not compulsory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in financial data handling.
- Effective organizational capabilities and strong time management.
- Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem resolution.
- Clear and competent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and aptitude in working with claims management software systems.
