Role Overview
The Account Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This role entails overseeing key client accounts, acting as the main liaison between clients and the company, and fostering long-term client relationships. Daily duties involve understanding client requirements, coordinating internally to ensure the delivery of products or services, resolving client concerns, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards. The role also includes monitoring account performance, generating reports, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and assisting with contract renewals.
Effective collaboration with sales, operations, and finance teams is crucial to ensure smooth delivery of client services and adherence to company policies.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver excellent customer service to sustain long-lasting partnerships.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation to effectively engage clients and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sales principles and account planning to identify growth opportunities and contribute to revenue goals.
- Proficient analytical and organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, tracking performance indicators, and preparing clear reports.
- Experience using office productivity software, including spreadsheets, presentation tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems; comfortable working with data.
- A Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Business, Commerce, or Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or client-facing roles, especially within corporate or B2B environments.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Varanasi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to evolving client and business requirements.
