Job description
Role Overview
As an Enterprise Account Executive at AWS New Zealand, you will manage strategic enterprise accounts across the country to promote AWS services, driving business growth and digital transformation. Working closely with senior leadership and various stakeholders, you will lead efforts to modernize applications, utilize advanced AI technologies, optimize cloud infrastructure costs, and support global expansion of customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze industry trends to craft and execute detailed account plans tailored for strategic enterprise clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers including C-level executives, business leaders, and technology heads, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives.
- Develop compelling value propositions around AWS offerings to enable clients’ business transformation and accelerate innovation.
- Drive complex customer engagements by articulating a clear vision and managing multiple partners to deliver results.
- Lead negotiations and close deals involving large-scale technology projects with strategic customers.
Typical Day
Engage deeply with enterprise customers throughout New Zealand, earning and maintaining their trust. Collaborate internally across teams such as Executives, Business Development, Solution Architects, Professional Services, and specialists, as well as external Partners, to deliver solutions that help customers undergo significant transformation via AWS adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/certifications.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in full sales cycle technology sales, business development, sales engineering, or consulting roles.
