Abrechner (m/w/d)

About the role

BUG Verkehrsbau SE is looking for an Abrechner (m/w/d) in Chemnitz to support the delivery and accounting of railway construction and rail equipment projects. The role suits someone who combines a strong feel for numbers, spatial thinking, and technical understanding of construction work.

What you will do

• Prepare timely and accurate billing for construction services and project work.
• Assist the site management team with cost tracking and day-to-day construction site coordination.
• Create recurring comparisons between planned and actual costs and performance.
• Compile expected billing quantities.
• Review incoming invoices.
• Support cost estimating and calculation tasks.

Your profile

• You have completed a degree in civil engineering, training as a construction technician, or hold an equivalent qualification.
• Initial professional experience in a similar role is desirable.
• You are confident using one of the common billing/accounting software tools used in construction.
• You hold a valid Class B driving licence.
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
• You work well in a team while also acting independently and with a strong sense of responsibility.
