About the internship
OriLoan Financial is a US-based mortgage brokerage and real estate technology startup building faster, clearer, and smarter home-financing experiences. The team works across mortgage products, documentation, compliance flows, loan operations, lead generation, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
As a UI/UX Design intern, you’ll help shape product experiences for digital tools used by borrowers, real-estate professionals, and internal teams. This role offers practical exposure to design work in fintech, mortgage technology, SaaS, and AI-driven products, with hands-on involvement in real business problems.
What you will do
- Create polished, easy-to-use interfaces for digital products and internal platforms.
- Build wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new features and product improvements.
- Take part in user research and usability testing to identify design opportunities.
- Coordinate with developers so design ideas are implemented smoothly.
- Keep track of current UI/UX practices, trends, and standards.
- Support motion and interaction design work using Adobe After Effects.
- Deliver thoughtful designs that balance user needs with business objectives.
Skills and tools expected
You should be comfortable working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite, XD, Figma, Sketch, wireframing tools, UI development concepts, and basic animation or interaction design. A strong eye for detail and the ability to turn complex workflows into simple experiences will be especially useful.

Internship details
