Role Overview
We are looking for dynamic and seasoned coaches to conduct online group sessions for children and adolescents. As a coach in this program, you'll guide fun and interactive virtual sessions aimed at fostering social, emotional, and educational growth for children aged 4 to 16.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate vibrant and supportive online group sessions for youth between 4 to 16 years old
- Conduct educational games and activities to promote social and emotional development
- Establish and nurture positive and inclusive relationships with participants
- Encourage engagement and lead meaningful group discussions
- Evaluate progress both individually and at the group level
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or closely related disciplines
- Preferred: Master's degree and coaching certification
- Minimum of five years' experience in youth group work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with Zoom and Google Suite technology
- Commitment of at least 10 hours weekly during peak weekend hours (for example, Friday noon to 7pm, Saturdays 8am to 11am, and Sundays 6am to 6:30pm PT)
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace for online coaching
- This is a part-time independent contractor position (1099) with full remote flexibility, primarily requiring work evenings and weekends
