Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual to advance our youth program by guiding young people aged 11-18 in developing a vibrant faith in Jesus. The role focuses on nurturing discipleship and fostering spiritual growth in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and engage in regular weekly youth activities.
- Support young people during important life transitions such as moving from Kids to Youth groups (Year 6), progressing from younger to older youth groups, and transitioning sixth form students into adulthood.
- Foster a strong and authentic community among the youth participants.
- Provide thoughtful pastoral care addressing the contemporary challenges faced by young people.
- Motivate and encourage youth to actively live out and share their faith.
- Connect young individuals with the broader church community and its mission.
- Maintain a consistent prayer focus for both volunteers and youth members.
